SafeNet Fusion authenticators from Thales are tokens which can hold both FIDO2 and PKI credentials. They can be used for FIDO log in to modern web services and Windows, such as Microsoft Azure and SafeNet Trusted Access. The same Fusion token can also be used for corporate e-mail, digital signing or file encryption services, which are already set up to use PKI certificate-based authentication.

These SafeNet etokens are FIDO2 certified. The USB-C connection suits use on a wide range of laptops and mobile devices.

FIDO (Fast Identity Online) is an increasingly popular way to identify users at log in, without passwords, and in a way that resists phishing and replay techniques, commonly used in identity fraud. FIDO2 is the latest iteration of the standard, in use since 2018.
