Crescendo C700 Evaluation Kit

Out-of-the-box, standards-compliant support for thousands of logical access applications

The Crescendo series smartcard specializes in logical and physical access control applications incorporating HID’s iClass and HID Proximity or MIFARE technologies with a cryptographic contact chip. By combining logical and physical access control in a single card the Crescendo series reduces card management costs and increases user convenience. The kit contains both MIFARE and iClass options of the Crescendo C700 smartcard allowing users to evaluate and test integration of both technologies with any physical access systems already in place.

As well as including the relevant drivers and Crescendo CSP the Evaluation Kit also contains our Crescendo start-up guide designed to help users easily set up Microsoft Windows Smartcard authentication. This guide contains detailed instructions on setting up Windows smartcard logon emphasizing the main aspects specific to enabling and running a secure two-factor authentication system. The addition of this guide creates an all-around easy to use package and gives IT managers a wealth of information to help combine logical and physical access control in a single card. • Crescendo start-up guide
• Drivers and middleware CD

To evaluate the logical access features of the Crescendo cards you will require at least one of the following smartcard readers:

• Omnikey 3121 - Our most popular USB desktop smartcard reader.
  
• Omnikey 4040 - PCMCIA smartcard reader suitable for many laptops.
  
• Omnikey 4321 - Smartcard reader for laptops with the new ExpressCard slot interface.

Further supplies of all cards and readers are available from our store.

Note: To select a facility code and numbering scheme for iClass 32K/Prox Crescendo smartcards enter your requirements into the 'special instructions' box during the checkout process or contact us to discuss your options. If no details are given cards will be supplied without programing. An additional charge will be made for cards which later require a facility code and numbering scheme.
