The ACOS3 card from ACS is a contactless microprocessor smartcard with 8K bytes of EEPROM memory. The high degree of security enabled by this card allows users to consider loyalty programs, identification, e-Purse and access control applications, especially when used alongside the ACOS6 Security Authentication Module (SAM).

ISO 14443 compliant, the ACOS3 contactless microprocessor card boasts a high-speed transmission rate of up to 848 Kbps. Featuring enhanced functions including Secure Messaging, Mutual Authentication, Session Key Generation, Secret Codes and Anti-tearing Mechanism, this card was especially designed for highly secure payment applications.
